The Democratic League of Kosovo does not see political will and courage in the Vetevendosje Movement to build the new government.
Under these circumstances, LDK deputy leader Skender Hyseni has said he will refuse to enter the government with the VV unless they have correct behaviour and dominate distrust in partnership.
We've been brought up with the Self-Determination Movement correctly until this has been absent from them and under these circumstances in any form we're not going to accept that we build governments, in which we're going to be left as political robbers. Only a government that dominates the sense of partnership and trust brings the country ahead of”, he said.
Hyseni, said they are expecting a defined response from the VV to overcome this situation, not considering the positions of officials of this party, who he said are behaving with contempt towards the LDK, writes Blic newspaper.
Kosovo's “Democratic League yesterday has made public its recent butopulation, which is quite balanced and correct, we are awaiting a response from Vetevendosje to a final answer, to round up this issue, although we know that now, two months of Vetevendosje has behaved as if it were in electoral campaign, representing and accusing certain LDK officials and outing polls, as a form of pressure and threat how they will turn out in new elections.
But we don't take seriously some charlatan voices of Vetevendosje that all day behave with contempt towards the LDK, but we expect a clear stance from the VV” party, Hyseni said.
LDK's number two has expressed readiness to stay in the opposition as well, leaving the way open for the formation of the VV government with other political subjects, though the redline decision has been wrong under Hysen.
“We're willing to stay the opposition, we don't have any problem with this, the Vetevendosje Movement let's build the government with other parties, lets the red lines take off because putting red lines is political shortness in a political environment like Kosovo, with a purely proportional electoral system. I have also said in LDK that the logic of red lines is automatically exclusive, and as such blocks solutions”, Hyseni said, adding that the LDK will not allow the country to enter institutional blockade, “The LDK will act on the country's interests, not on personal ones, as Vetevendosje is now acting, citizens have shown their will in the elections and should not be warped. The Democratic League of Kosovo as an institutional and serious party will engage to prevent the country from being allowed into institutional blockade. ”
On the other hand, Hyseni reiterated that they are awaiting a firm response from the VV to then come up with a new position on how to act further, for the creation of new institutions.
“I give no hypothetical positions, until the Vetevendosje Movement gives a firm answer I cannot point out my position on how to act further”, he said in the end.
By contrast, since the Certificate of the results of the October 6th early parliamentary elections by the Central Election Commission Vetevendosje Movement, as the winner of these elections and the Democratic League of Kosovo, are making constant efforts to achieve a ruling coalition.
So far the leaders of both parties, Albin Kurti and Isa Mustafa, have met 8 times with the aim of concluding a coalition agreement, but the efforts up until then have been unsuccessful.
