If the absence of society is not the end of the world for you, if you like loneliness, you have a close social circle, there's nothing to worry about. You even label yourself not even as an introvert but as smart as average people. According to a study published in British Journal of Psychology, people who are very intelligent tend to have a smaller circle of friends and seek less social interaction.

Their research showed that human beings are happier when they live in less dense areas. They also found that a person's happiness increases when a greater percentage of their social interactions are with people who truly love, compared with large groups of friends or acquaintances by chance!

Most participants in the study reported a greater level of happiness when they had more frequent social interactions, but unlike what you might think, the group that claimed otherwise had higher results in the intelligence test.
Participants in the very intelligent group reported an opposite effect when it comes to social situations. Researchers explained that the most intelligent individuals experience lower satisfaction when they have to go out or interact with many at the same time.
These people are focused on other long - term goals. In other words, very intelligent people tend to use their time to solve a current problem or to reach their destination. So don't blame yourself for being so social. You're special.
