Djukanovic: Ideas like Greater Albania or Greater Serbia can bring great tragedy

Montenegro's President Milo Djukanovic has said the Law on Religious Freedoms in his state has been misused to desecrate Montenegro.

“Do not let your religious freedoms abuse the way the last days in Montenegro have been misused, to desecrate our state”, he said, conveys Periscope.

Montenegro's president, speaking of nationalism, also cited ideas such as Albania the Great and Serbia the Great.

“I have said that nationalism for a Greater Serbia would have to cease as an idea since 2006, but there is effort and dream of a recompliance of the Balkans, to make a Greater Serbia, or a Greater Albania or a Croatia, and the rest will disappear. Therefore, any effort for Greater Serbia or Greater Albania implies a great tragedy. No one can treat Montenegro differently, except as an independent state, he has said./Periscopi/
