By 2018, there were about 50,000 recorded cases - nearly 8,000 more than in 2017.
These figures indicate that more men are being tested for prostate cancer in England.
In 2018, there were 316,680 cancers of all kinds diagnosed, equivalent to 868 a day.
Prostata was the most common type of BAR 49,029 cases followed by breast cancer 47,476 cases.
lung and intestine cancer was the next disease that was diagnosed later.
