According to recent research, you can drink up to 25 cups of coffee a day without fear of risking your heart health.
Earlier research suggested that coffee increases the risk of heart attack and strokes, that is why researchers have suggested keeping an eye on how much coffee you drink every day. But a new study conducted in Great Britain, including more than 8,000 people, showed that you can drink up to 25 cups of coffee a day.
People who consumed up to 25 cups of coffee daily had no higher risk of blocking arteries than people who consumed less than a cup of coffee each day.
Despite the high popularity of coffee worldwide, various reports can discourage people from consuming and tasting coffee. Although we cannot testify to the cause of the connection in this study, our research shows that coffee is not as bad for arteries as suggested by previous studies,” said Kenneth Fung from the Queen Mary University of London that conducted the study.
