Yllka Neziri is the first Albanian to have won a seat at the Sandefjard Assembly in Norway. The mother of three is born and raised in Gjakova, and at the age of 18, she emigrated to Norway.
Born and raised in Gjakova, Kosovo, Ylka Neziri was 18 years old at the time the war began in Kosovo and along with his family migrated to Norway.
He never thought he'd get into politics.
She had worked hard creating there in her business as well as her new family.
However, in 2015 as a mother of three, she became a member of the right - hand Norwegian centre of Prime Minister Erna Solberg.
It has won elections in 2015, becoming the first Albanian assembly in a municipality in Norway.
Even in the last elections that were held on 9 September, Neziri has again won by receiving a second term as an assavist in Sandefjard City.
It has decided immediately after the elections to spend several days vacationing in Kosovo. But since elections in Kosovo are near, she is surprised that in Kosovo only 30% of women are on election lists.
Says this gender discrimination doesn't happen where she lives.
In the recent local elections in Norway, Faruk Brahimi has raised the number of Albanians represented in Norwegian municipalities. He was chosen asamblist in Sandnes City.
