Speaking after a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, in margins of the UN General Assembly in New York, Vuciqi said Germany insists on that.
“Plani and French President Emmanuel Macron and Chancellor Merkel is to organise a regional meeting and launch intensive talks between Serbs and Albanians”, he said, Serbian television N1 broadcast Koha.net reported.
Vuciqi added that Merkel wants long-term stability and, according to him, “it will invest all efforts in maintaining stability”.
“It wants us to talk until we find a solution”, the Serbian president said.
Vuciqi has also met with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, who has told him that “will be committed to supporting your work in supporting peace and stability”.
The key theme of this meeting was Kosovo, but it hasn't shown what has been discussed.
