Hysamedin Feraj, VV) candidate for deputy by No.45, was recently involved in the debate that national investigation, Gjergji Kastriot Skenderbeu, had committed massacres on Muslims who refuse to become Christians.
In addition, Feraj had written that the massacres Skenderbeu had committed by the Ottoman Empire towards Albanians.
Fifth, Skenderbeu could be interpreted as the Albanian leader who inaugurated the start of religious wars between Albanians. It could thus be interpreted his behaviour to other religious beliefs in Albania after returning to Kruja, when he asked colonists and converters to Islam to choose between Christianism and death and all those who refused to abandon the massacred Islam. Massive massacres like these have not been carried out throughout the Ottoman rule period, and generally this behaviour of Skenderbe was not followed by other leaders (likely except Peter Bogdan and any other rare occasion) and did not become a tradition among Albanians. On the contrary, tradition became religious tolerance that is a typical Albanian experience and characteristic”, Feraj wrote.
