Unicef makes its office accessible to disabled persons in Kosovo

The renowned Unicef organisation, through a post on its official Facebook account, has revealed that it has made its office accessible to disabled persons. “
Now, we're happy to let you know that we've taken a step forward on this by making our office accessible to disabled people. Every person has the right to be fully part of society and public life, and lack of access should not be an obstacle to that. ” writes in Unicef Kosovo Programme notification.
Stigmatisation and discrimination of disabled children remain a very disturbing problem for our country.
A previous research suggested that only 12 percent of these children participated in our school system, writes Periscope.

Today, we are happy to announce that we have taken a step forward in making our office accessible to disabled persons.
