The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, has met senior representatives of the world's largest auto company “Toyota”.
At the meeting with Toyota Corporation Executive Vice President Mitsuru Kawai and the production factory management in Toyota City, President Thaci has asked them to consider the possibility of expanding the market in Kosovo and through it in the countries of the Western Balkans and Europe.
“was an extraordinary opportunity to discuss the possibility of expanding the Toyota market in Kosovo. We're safe for investments, with European laws and talented workforce. After this visit we will have other meetings to deepen this co-operation”, he said.
According to him, the idea for establishing a Japanese business centre in Kosovo has been welcomed at this meeting.
On the other hand, the executive vice president of the Toyota Corporation, Mitsuru Kawai, has welcomed the idea to see the possibility of co-operation with Kosovo.
He has stressed that the number of users must initially increase. The first mission and demand for the people of Kosovo, therefore, is to drive as many Toyota” as possible, he added.
During his visit to Japan, President Thaci has been arranged for a visit to the old temples in the city of Kyoto. He has also met two Kosovo students who are studying in Osaka and Kyoto.
