Thaci has stressed that Kosovo institutions have excellent co-operation with NATO, which is the guarantor of peace and stability in the Western Balkans.
“KFOR continues to perform a wonderful work in Kosovo”, President Thaci said.
He has also stressed that the process of transforming KSF into the military is going according to dynamics defined by Kosovo institutions in co-operation with international partners.
“The KSF today is a professional force, of NATO standards, trained by NATO, multiethnic force engaged in equal gender representation”, President Thaci has said.
Secretary General Stoltenberg, in turn, has said NATO remains committed to maintaining peace and stability in Kosovo and in the Western Balkans region.
President Thaci added that the time has come to advance our relations and Kosovo to join NATO.
