At a media conference by the US Embassy in Pristina, they have talked about the importance of continuing dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.

Senator Chris Murphy has said that the two states must understand that it is necessary to sacrifice, to then be able to normalise the reports between themselves.

Murphy has spoken about dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia has also cited solutions that may be difficult for both sides.

“but so is commitment to dialogue with Serbia. That includes difficult solutions. We will continue our journey by stopping in Belgrade, at a meeting with Vucinqi. We expect the dialogue to be meaningful and productive. We hope that both sides must realise that sacrifice is necessary, to be then able to normalise the reports between the two countries. A Kosovo-Serbia agreement will result in success in economic and political development. We will have a clear message in Belgrade as we had here in Kosovo”, Murphy said,

On the other hand, Democrat Senator Ron Johnson has said a solution to dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade would be key to unlocking the region's future.

“We are here to provide support to the people of Kosovo. We want peace, security. And these are achieved through a government that respects the law. Reaching an agreement with Serbia is the key that unblocks the future. That's why we are here to support the people in Kosovo and Serbia, to see them succeed”, Johnson has said.

Murhpy has said, among other things, that this is the second time in Kosovo and that he is impressed with people and positive energy in Kosovo.

He has said that Kosovo should be committed to the rebirth of the economy and in the area of rule of law.

This is the second time in Kosovo. Every time I'm here in Pristina, I'm very impressed with the energy of people in this country. We are friends of Kosovo and we have a special connection. And this connection will continue between Kosovo and the United States. There are two necessary things for rebirth in the economy. One is commitment to rule of law, commitment to the education system”, Murphy said among other things.
