The Bin Laden family, one of the most influential families in Saudi Arabia, had earlier expressed interest in buying shares in the club, but an agreement never materialised, Periscope reports.
Prince Abdullah Bin Mossad Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, a member of the Saudi royal family, took full control of Sheffield on Monday.
And at a press conference Thursday, 54-year-old protected the bin Laden family.

Abdullah said he was offended by the criticism of the Bin Laden family and labeled him a respected family.
I'm really offended when people think the bin Laden family is a bad name,” he said.
“Bin Laden is a good family, every family can have a bad person but they are a very respected family.
I didn't do business with them in the past, but if I could do business with them in the future, I'd be happy to do it.
