Customs recalls that because of avoidances in customs duties, it applies financial fines to those who have submitted it to carry out cars.
“over the past week, as well as this week, has identified eight cases of cars that have been submitted for follow-up, where, after verifying miles, they have been identified as dealing with fraud in miles, so they've declared more miles than there are actually cars. All were penalised by around 5,000 euros of fine”, the statement said.
Kosovo customs says they will continue to verify past miles of cars that will be followed, so they have appealed all citizens not to fall prey to unconscious persons who can even offer offers for car mileing manipulations, with the aim of avoiding customs duties because fines and customs taxes will still pay the citizen who can pass the car.
Kosovo's “Dogana will continue towards its mission, law enforcement in the field related event”, the statement concludes.
