They came here to their village of Topalla, one of the largest polling stations to exploit their right to vote, Kohavision reports.
Minere Hajdini says that despite being forced to abandon their homeland, they want positive changes for Albanians here.
But not all managed to vote, as their names were erased from civilian records.
Many citizens who came to exploit the right to vote here in Topalla were sent back after their names were not found on election lists. Four years ago, the recent local elections were held here on election lists found 1058 voters, while today only 407 remain.
Citizens are disappointed with the actions of the Serbian state and demand that this be resolved by internationals.
However, 28 seats were opened in time and during the election process, no incidents were recorded.
Citizens of Medvedja in these elections will elect 25 new asmblists, who will then vote for the mayor of the municipality. Muharrem Salihu, owner of the list by the Albanian coalition Alternative for Change and the Democratic Party, has no high expectations that the winner will arise.
In addition to the Albanian coalition, Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq's SNS, the Party of Democratic Action, are competing in these elections until they were boycotted by the opposition party, the League for Serbia.
