Vjosa Osman Nepotism: Man in MPJ, sister in ATK

The foreign ministry has allegedly against-law promoted Vjosa Osman's husband,don Sadriun, who has been granted diplomatic degrees to the minister, and has been given a four-year mandate in Skopje.

He was promoted by Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli, on July 15th of this year, who has appointed him to this position without being recommended by MPJ Director General Albert Prenkaj.

Prenkaj has asked Minister Pacolli to review the decision to promote Princeton Sadriou, citing the laws in power for which he has found violations in the decision to promote Vjosa Osman's husband.

He has clarified that the decision belongs only to the foreign minister, but based solely on the General Director's assessment, which did not happen in this case.

The next instance of nepotism related to Vjosa Osman is the employment of her sister, Iliona Osmani-Mari, as tax inspectors in the Kosovo Tax Administration.

It is among 20 people who are employed in the latest competition in ATK, announced in March 2019. She has already signed the contract, and on Monday she is expected to start working.

Some 2,000 had competed for these 20 jobs, while 512 candidates who had met the minimum conditions required in the contest had been invited to the writing test.

On the list of candidates selected as inspectors in ATK, Vjosa Osmani's sister was ranked 15th. /Periscope
