Today, 18 years have been made since the signing of the Ohrid Agreement A Albanian-Macedonian contract for new socio-political reports and further state building called the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia now North Macedonia.
President Hashim Thaci has recalled this moment.
The Ohrid Agreement, signed 18 years ago, was the starting point of life of Albanians' aspirations for equal and dignified treatment in northern Macedonia”, he wrote on Facebook.
“Although implementing this agreement took a long time, it today is the greatest guarantor of stability in northern Macedonia. The Republic of Kosovo will always be a strategic partner of northern Macedonia and a factor in preserving peace in the region”.
