Sejdiu: The president can give Kurt's mandate to make government without an election

PSD Parliamentary Group chief Dardan Sejdiu has said it would be interesting if President Hashim Thaci offered the mandate of the second subject to exit the last elections to form the government, which in this case would be Vetevendosje. Following Ramush Haradinaj's resignation from prime minister's post, Thaci offered the mandate to Kadri Veselin as coalition leader PAN, the winner of the last elections, will secure votes to form the new government. However, parliamentary parties have agreed on August 22nd to hold hearings on the distribution of the Assembly and sending the country to elections. And, according to Sejdiu, this could be avoided if Thaci used the legal right to mandate the second, Vetevendosje, to form the government.
What is important to say is that in a procedural and legal way, the president has the right to mandate someone to form the government. The second subject was VV and has been able to mandate, but is at the discretion of the president and has been able to mandate Kurt, for example, and gather the signatures to make the government. If he gives the mandate, the VV and LDK could make an interesting government”, Sejdiu has said. “Would be a good opportunity for those who claim to change to be organized for something that would lead PDK in opposition”.
Sejdiu, however, has said they are more pro-election.
For the upcoming elections, he has said he expects everything to be different compared to past elections and that discussions will take place on programmes. Here it has proposed a union of left-wing parties.
