He's the third player this week after Yakou Meis of the Reading and Tammy Abraham of Chelseat ʹ who becomes the target of abuse on racist grounds in social media.
United says it's “verified” by abuse and that it strongly condemns it, reports the BBC, translates Periscopi.
“The individuals who expressed those views do not represent the values of our great club, and it is encouraging for us to see most of our fans until they condemn such behavior,” said in United's statement.
“Manchester United has zero tolerance to any form of racism or discrimination. ”
Last week, also Tammy Abraham had lost a penalty in Europe's Supercup against Liverpool, and Chelsea fans, known as brutalists, lashed out at the social media.
Frank Lambard, chief of the technical staff of this club, had said he feels disgusted by his club's approach to fans. /Periscope
