Movement for the Union Chairman Valon Murati has said the decision by Kosovo institutions for non-recognition of Serbian passports is a serious blow to the exiles of Presevo, Bujanoc and Medvedja.

He said the decisions Kosovo institutions make should help Albanians living in Serbia, rather than harm them, Klan Kosova reports.

“Reciprocity in the report with Serbia except to empower the state of Kosovo must be realised above all to help Albanians in eastern Kosovo, not to make their lives difficult even more there. I invite our institutions that urgently find solutions for the Eastern Kosovo Albanians, even on the issue of passport travel”, Murati has written.

Murati added that Albanians in that part of the survival provide vital communication with Kosovo.

Below His Complete Status

Reciprocity with Serbia must help Eastern Kosovo, not harm it

The decisions Kosovo institutions make in relation to the Serbian state should always take into account the dimension of eastern Kosovo, respectively, of Albanians living there and whose survival is realized through vital communication with Kosovo.

Thus, the decision on non-recognition of Serbia's passports, as the National Council of Albanians there stated, has hit exiles from Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja hard, who mostly travel through Pristina Airport and who have already had problems these days.

Reciprocity in the report with Serbia, except to empower the state of Kosovo, must be realised above all to help Albanians in Eastern Kosovo, not to make their lives difficult there. I invite our institutions to urgently find solutions for the Eastern Kosovo Albanians even on the issue of passport travel.
