Montenegro to sue rally organisers at Cem, where only red and black flag was used

Montenegro's Culture Ministry will hand over the indictment against the organiser of the rally at Cem, during which the Albanian national flag, without Montenegro's national flag, is reported by the institution. “Since the promised rally, the flag of the neighbouring state appeared without Montenegro's national flag, connected [...]
“Since the flag of Montenegro's neighbouring state without Montenegro's national flag has appeared at the gathering, in question we will hand over the criminal indictment to competent bodies against the organiser. We point out that cultural manifestations dare not be foreordained for any kind of nationalism, nor for violating standards that are clearly defined with the positive legal provisions of Montenegro”, reports “-info”.
Interconfessional and interreligious harmony is said to be one of the fundamental assets of Montenegrin society.
“Respecting the rights of all citizens of Montenegro who cultivate cultural and national identity, in this case once again highlight the need to respect existing legal provisions so that similar reactions can be avoided in the future. Because, the laws of Montenegro should be the same for all”, the communiqué concludes.
Days earlier, this minister announced that it would also file charges against organisers of the humanitarian concert “for Kosovo and our Metohija”, which was held in the Montenegrin Herceg Novi for displaying symbols of other countries, desecration of Montenegro's national anthem and political and nationalist messages.
On 16 August, after 20 years of absence, the organisation of the Targaja Log came back, this traditional Albanian holiday, which dates from the organisation of the logo near the Targaja Bridge and Cem River.
Albanian media in Montenegro say this area has been recognised not only by historical values, but also by the beautiful traditions in which some 300 families of surrounding villages once gathered. Beauty contests have been held, popular instrumentists have participated, and traditional games have been held.
At this year's party, there were dinosaurs, Miles, Shkodra, and so on. And there were officials of the Vetevendosje Movement, led by Albin Kurti.
We were in Tuz, Montenegro, at the Taryan Log at the Cem River, where the traditional festival was being held with the participation of thousands of local and exiled mountainmen”, Kurti wrote on a Facebook post.
And to the ministry of culture's warning of indictment, Montenegrin Deputy Speaker Genc Nimangebu has reacted, who said he is surprised by the Montenegrin state's response.
I'm so surprised. The Ministry of Culture and its employees absolutely need to know that we, as an Albanian people autochthon in Montenegro, have our national symbol that under the Constitution we have the right to free use, and everything else, in my opinion, is the initiative of disputes with our people”, he said, according to “Malesia.org”.
Always according to this portal, Nimanbegu has said that for this warned indictment he will negotiate with representatives of other Albanian parties and “see the appropriate approach to reaction”.
Reactions regarding the indictment's warning against the Log organisers of the Gruda Zoja in Trgaja also came from the Albanian Forum ( ASH and DPA)
For Albanians, your indictment means nothing, but you've only soiled yourself”, the Albanian Forum's statement, addressed to Montenegrin Culture Minister Aleksandar Bogdanovic.
The Albanian Forum announced that it would not allow the condemnation of citizens of Malta, “as compared to the cultural gathering near the Cem River, at which it was only sung, with gatherings calling for hatred, with chauvinist messages, not only towards Montenegro, but also other neighbouring countries”, is said in communiques from this political alliance.
Addressing the minister of Culture, in response to the Albanian Forum it is said that “is necessary at the level of all national political subjects to consider further participation in the Government at which a minister who has this attitude towards Albanian cultural activities” remains at the helm.
This political alliance says Bogdanovici, both Minister of Culture and Albanians in Montenegro, “should know that the flag show at the rally mentioned is not only the flag of the Republic of Albania, but is the national symbol of all Albanians, wherever they live, the flag that has left the biggest Albanian national hero Gjergj Kastriot-Sffrue”.
