The incumbent Minister of Health, Uran Ismaili, together with incumbent Minister of Economic Development Valdrin Luka, have visited the Kosovo Clinical and University Centre today.
They have forwarded the work being done to the QKUK clinics under the Kosovo Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Project.
Kosovo's Clinical and University Centre for the moment is being renovated by the Ginecology, Emergency and ORL clinics.
At this institution, incumbent Minister Ismaili said 3.5m euros have been invested for 16 clinics.
They have been turned into old windows with efficient windows, thermal isolation of walls andʹ, installation of solar panels for warm sanitation, and replacement of fossil fuels with biomasks.
There are 3.5m euros to be invested in the KKUK alone in 16 clinics to transform them into the most dignified clinics for medical services. Patients and health professionals will have better conditions. The third phase, which includes other remaining clinics, will soon begin, and the KKUK will be completed as a whole”, said Minister Ismaili.
On the other hand, incumbent Economy Development Minister Valdrin Luka has expressed satisfaction with the dynamics of the works.
The main part of the project includes capital investments in the renovation of health sector buildings in Kosovo, aimed at promoting energy savings as well as improving domestic comfort. Under capital investments dealing with the renovation of hospital buildings, from the start of the project implementation so far, 60 buildings have been identified for the energy efficiency company”, Luka said.
Currently, over 5m euros have been invested in the health sector alone under the project.
