Hoti Conjufza: The prime minister's post belongs to the first party, rule must be accepted by all

Hoti has said their party [ The LDK] has just emerged from the election process and the way it will be done away will be announced at the upcoming meetings of party structures.

The first “, we have just emerged from the internal electoral process, united more than ever before. We have our structures and within them all merit decisions will be made, decisions that are in the best interest for the state of Kosovo, citizens and LDK”, says Hoti.

He adds that the LDK is the party that has mostly received support from citizens in the 2017 local elections, receiving the largest number of MPs.

“We are the party with the greatest support of citizens from the 2017 local elections, with the largest number of MPs, with the largest number of municipalities we govern and with the largest number of municipal advisers. Since then, the citizens' trust in LDK has been on the rise”, he says of Express, as long as he mentions even objections they made. The PAN was just in the opposition.

“We have become a powerful opposition during the PAN government and have co-ordinated all opposition in the Kosovo Assembly. We have managed to stop harmful processes for the country, in particular the PAN anti-state access to dialogue with Serbia, where the dialogue law was declared anti-competitive”, says Hoti.

He has expressed once again the position that the prime minister's post in the upcoming elections will meet the largest party in the country, and that rule must, according to him, be accepted by all.

The largest party in the country belongs to the prime minister's position. This must be okay with everybody. The largest party has the greatest trust in citizens and has the greatest responsibility, so it must also lead with the government”, Hoti has declared.

That response by Hoti comes after continuing coalition bids that the Vetevendosje Movement has made to the LDK.
