Despite the private sector's commitment to young people's ability in different industries, the Government must play a key role in preparing young people in specific areas through long-term strategic programmes.
This was told at the table organised by the American Economic Oda in Kosovo, where businesses present gave their recommendations about human capital in Kosovo for the new Government.
The executive director of the American Oda, Arian Zeka, said that among the biggest challenges facing Kosovo businesses, especially those in the production sector, services, and trade, is the provision of proper working force frameworks, adding that the new government should focus on young people's ability to be available for the job market.
Limak company representative Valentina Gara said human capital is a very important factor in the development of individuals for their professional preparation. She added social investment in society as necessary in preparing young people for the job market through various training, saying economic development is achieved not only by job creation but by creating appropriate frameworks in the workplace through investments made by the Government in various programmes.
