On Saturday, the LDK will hold its much-mentioned Parliament, where party delegates will choose the man who will lead the party.
The Express newspaper has learned that the party has finally agreed on the consensus candidate for chairman, and he will be the current party leader, Mustafa.
According to Gazeta Express sources, the party's current deputy chairman, Agim Veliu, has decided to withdraw from the race for party chairman, leaving the way open for Mustafa to be reconfirmed at the helm of LDK deal.
Reaching an agreement within the party for consensual presidential candidate means that the next deputy chairman, Lutfi Haziri, withdraws from the race for chairman. He had declared he would run for party leader only if a consensus candidate for chairman was not found.
The LDK assembly is meant to be held on Saturday, August 3rd, at 10.
