Agim Bahtiri municipality has been able to damage the state budget for 2m euros

The municipality headed by Agim Bahtiri has expressed its intention to reward the company “Lirigzon S” with two contracts, even though it had the most expensive offers and even that false documents were in the application file, writes today “Koha Ditore”.

Procurement procedures for contracts, which are jointly planned to weigh 8m euros, were announced a year ago, and after three re-evaluation processes, they were cancelled. Meanwhile, the new tender announcement made by the New Town, according to Procureing Organisation (OSHP), contains discriminatory and favourative criteria. And for the whole situation, information has gone to the Anti-Corruption Agency, while charges have been filed in the prosecution organ.

To have reasoned on the course of these procurement processes, Mitrovica authorities in a response given to the newspaper have called “abnormally low” the company's bid “Bajraktari”, which had offered the price for about 2m euros cheaper than “Ligzon S”, companies that the municipality three times the winner had declared.
