Swiss Albanian chooses to represent Kosovo, targets 2020 Olympics

Sami Morina has decided to represent Kosovo in the triathon sport, formed just months ago in Kosovo.

Morina, who has so far participated in different races in the Swiss state, will now represent Kosovo in international competitions.

The Federation of Kosovo Triatlon was formed months ago.

Morina, who is in Kosovo today, visited the Kosovo Olympic Committee, where she was hosted by President Besim Hasani and Vice President Gazmend Maxhuni.

President Hasani commended Morina for the decision made, wishing her success in international competitions.

Morina herself voiced optimism that she will compete to win the Tokyo 2020 Olympic rate, which President Hasani expressed willingness to help.
