Shukri Buya speaks after the Special Court invites: Maybe I'll defend myself in silence.

He said that he is considering it as an opportunity to protect himself in silence.

The “will actually depend on not what the lawyer stipulates, but if not then it depends on questions”, Buja said.

Buja has shown what they have been talking about in the Special Court's office in Pristina, saying the investigator knows him 20 years ago.

In Kosovo, it's the investigators I've known for 20 years, and even told me that I haven't changed, are the same procedures as it used to be, it doesn't make any difference. I still couldn't determine who I'm going to associate with because of my 16x1> visa, he said.

On the other hand, Buya has talked about his activity in politics and said he is not active for a year now, he is at the Initiative's Steering Council, but without any other activity.

After accepting the Buya invitation, he had said this court is political, unilateral and harmful for Kosovo.

I announce I received an invitation from specialised rooms, the prosecution specialising to appear in The Hague with 17.010,2019. Despite my position that this court is political, unilateral and harmful for Kosovo, he will respond to this invite”, Buja has said.
