Most of them are also part of the group of 10 officials with the largest increase in wealth in the past three years. This is how it becomes known on the platform of comparing the wealth of top public officials from 2010 to 2019, presented today by the Fol Movement, where the comparison is about 500 public officials.
The particular feature of this platform, according to director Mejidie Demolli, is that it could be compared to all senior public officials from 2010 to 2019, starting with the heads of state, ministers, MPs, mayors and all other officials who have held public office. Demolli:
There are about 500 public officials who are on this platform. The particular part of this platform is that it could be compared to all those officials from 2010 to 2019, as long as they held positions in state institutions. This platform through various filters enables us to make comparisons, from all positions, to see everyone's wealth. We have the opportunity to see only the property of MPs, there are three Kosovo Assembly legislatures, the last three legislatures where all MPs are and we can make comparisons. Legislation of four, five and six means depending on what we care about. In addition to MPs, the possibility of comparison lies with the government, we have the Thaci government 2, we have the government Mustafa and the last Haradinaj government.
Also, comparisons can be made with mayors”, she said. Explaining the platform, Demolli mentioned that the 10 richest officials in Kosovo institutions, divided according to different categories, appear on its forehead.
The innovation on this platform, according to Demolli, is the classification of 10 officials with the most numerous sources of income.
Besides these innovations on this platform, we have 10 officials with more sources of income. Categories are the same, with the heads of state, deputies, ministers and mayors... what I would like to stop this part, of income resources, we have many public officials who own shares in many companies, but they don't represent the income from these companies on forms handed over to the Anti-Corruption Agency, they don't present their income as an annual inflow, and their number we can say is quite” said Principal Demoll.
