Political history of Ilir Meta, the most corrupt man in Albania

But along with the protests, the opposition boycotted the June 30th local government elections, thus donating it to the table to Edi Rama, 61 municipalities.

But, in the midst of this political crisis, there is the country's president, Ilir Meta.

During the June 8th protest, President Ilir Meta came up with an unexpected decision, thus deepening the crisis.

With the claim that he was trying to avoid a possible civil clash, Ilir Meta issued June 30th as the date for holding local elections. And actually what happened was that Ilir Meta added fuel to the fire.

But after Ilir Meta's decision, in the opposition camp, the Democrats rushed to declare it “hero”.

The Democrats have flooded and are acting like Ilir Meta is the man of democracy, as if he's protecting the principles, the man who's defending the Constitution, who's protecting the rights of Albanians, who's saving us from the grip of Soros, who's saving us from criminal reform in Justice. Or you're saving us from stealing the vote.

In fact, Ilir Meta is the man who has been paid with Albanian money for 30 years.

He has been paid as deputy, as foreign minister, as economy minister, as deputy prime minister, as prime minister, as speaker of Parliament, and already as president.

He's been stuck in his hand, putting a percentage in his hand, and the fine is on him, getting innocent.

He was caught stealing. It has been accused of stealing Krabba's treasury from Sali Berisha, the country's former prime minister, then opposition leader, who is now at the hands of Ilir Meta.

Ilir Meta has been charged as the most corrupt man in Albania.

With tenders and scandals, for media capture. And what you're doing today, supposedly on behalf of the free vote, we remember the 2001 elections. An electoral massacre, with 5 or 7 election rounds. At the time, there were majority election in the runoff. People were killed on election day in Devall. Tanks have been extracted on Election Day in Tirana. People were massacred in Durres. People in Vlora and Fier have been tortured. People have been dragged to Korca. They were beaten and tortured by commissioners in Elbasan. The boxes are packed on Matt. Then a criminal incident occurred in Tropoj. Syl Lusaj was killed and after his murder and after a major protest in Tropoja on November 28th 2000, in the evening after the riots in the north, the Democratic Party headquarters has been surrounded by at least 300 special forces, RENEA and FNSH. Snipers in every building across from PD headquarters. On each balcony and window looking at the PD headquarters, then the building in front of what is today the commercial center “Tooptan”. He was surrounded on every corner of the road. The road passing through the fort, where is the pedonalia today, the road that passed by the Piazza, George Busha Street ahead, and everything was surrounded by police vehicles and forces that controlled everyone leaving the PD headquarters. Dozens and hundreds of Democrats were arrested and hit. They were escorted to the police station. The PD headquarters, with the fall of the night, around 7:00 p.m. has been kept in terror for about eight hours, until midnight. Until DP chairman Sali Berisha -- who has been associated with the Tirana Police Directorate's facilities, where he has been questioned -- about the Tropoja event and knowledge about other events that took place in Albania.

So this Ilir Mete who defends today with <x0 minusx1> in the hand of the Democrats, is the man who beat them, massacred them and stole the 2001 elections.

This man who speaks today in the name of opposition and principles of democracy and pro-Europeanism is the man who massacred, beat, tortured the Democrats and arrested and accompanied to the Police Directorate, the then opposition leader, Sali Berisha.

So today, everything that a man does that otherwise tells him that he's using <x0...

The Democrats must have a little memory and remember that Ilir Meta is not that angel who shows up on TV today, but he is a political thief and bandit and nothing more than that.

Just remember the events, those who are true Democrats and who have remained in opposition from 1997 to 2005. He broke their arms and arms at police station, broke their legs, arrested their wives and children. Ilir Meta did it in the 2001 elections. He has arrested, tortured and violated hundreds of Democrats in local elections. This is Ilir Meta and nobody else. This is the real Ilir Meta. That's why the Democrats shouldn't forget.
