The Government's call to end the monopoly in its counterpart has been made by US Ambassador to Kosovo Philip Costett, and by EU Office chief Natalia Apostolova.
But despite this wide anti-monopol front as well as the assessment that free market and competition are being violated, the Ministry of Infrastructure has not yet made a decision whether to keep administrative instruction in force, or to respond positively to the requirements for its change.
The administration management in force enables the company “EuropaLab” to carry out this service alone in Kosovo for the next 10 years.
