At 2: 00 p.m. Friday at the Meshaari district until the police station in Fushë Kosovo will be a march on the motto: Police, court judge, how much do you want to shoot?
The call made on Facebook says: “Rape cases which are being reported to police are not being addressed, and due to systematic racism rooted in these institutions Kosovo citizens are being killed. Citizens of the Republic of Kosovo are killing this racist state itself”.
Below you find the call for gear:
Kosovo's justice system is failing to protect citizens from criminals, from their own institutions and racism. The cases of rapes being reported to the police are not being addressed, and as a result of systematic racism rooted in these institutions, Kosovo citizens are being killed. Citizens of the Republic of Kosovo are killing this racist state itself.
The recent murder of 11-year-old, raped several times and killed by an alleged 20-year-old criminal is one of the terrible cases that broadcast ignoring that justice institutions have against crime and that they are co-operating with them. This case, reported in January and ended in murder after continuing institutional neglect, is making the society we live in more and more uncertain.
These cases of neglect, discrimination and institutional racism should not be allowed to become standards! Police and prosecutors must answer for this crime! So, we invite you to Friday, starting at 2: 00 p.m., to stand up and protest before police in Fushesh Kosovo and not to allow rapes and murders to be concealed within the walls of these institutions that are at least protecting us.
