LDK deputy Ramiz Kelmendi has demanded that the elections for LDK chief be held before 3 August.
“ZE of the LDK leader to be held before August 3rd / the appointment date for holding the LDK electoral Parliament on 3. August 2019, initially was a well-elected date, but since the current political situation created requires that these elections get as close as possible so that the mayor who continues or receives new responsibilities, depending on the votes and candidates offered”, he writes on Facebook.
He predicts what would happen if Isa Mustafa is re-elected at the helm of LDKı, or someone else.
In the first instance of the re-election of the current LDK president, Mr. Isa Mustafa once again strengthens support to get closer to these important processes, but in the next case I will give him the opportunity to recover and start working with full power, because in all cases Kosovo and in this conflict even the biggest and most powerful party that can push the major processes before”, Kelmendi wrote.
“It is known that local policy is divided in two, about the tax, talks with Serbia and the actual topics being offered. The silence of the International Community shows that a LDK political maturity is needed for the country's future. It is also known that different statements on the same topic and the possibility of intervention to disrupt the LDK membership is greater if the time is longer! Therefore, I suggest that the general elections for LDK in the first place and for Kosovo and its citizens in the second row be held earlier, prior to August 3,”, Kelmendi writes.
