One of the organisers of this protest Vlora Gashi said they have gathered to protest and reject institutional racism that is killing Kosovo citizens as she said.
The state is failing to protect its citizens. The case of rape and child murder is a terrible event that is striking down on our faces the normalized racism in our society. For this, institutions are at fault, ranging from schools to police and prosecutors showing that some lives are worth less and that rapes are not taken seriously. Moreover, this questions the welfare of children of this state”, Gashi said.
VVV MP Sami Kurteshi, who participated in the protest, expressed his disappointment with Kosovo institutions that are not handling the killings in Kosovo.
Hasim Bucolli, a neighboring victim, also sought justice for memory Wessel. While MP I VVJalal Sfecla and two community protesters have entered the Kosovo police station for a meeting with the police commander to get information concerning the course performance in question.
The next protest on the murder of minors will be held Tuesday at 12:00 before the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina.
The Foundation Court in Pristina has set 30 days in detention for S.O., the 20-year-old who first violated and then killed K. Wessel. The same one has accepted the work done.
