The new innovation minister expands his vision: Kosovo to become Balkan innovation centre

Muzafer Shala is the new minister of the Ministry of Innovation, who has today accepted office.

Therefore, via the social Facebook network, Shala, has unveiled his vision of running this institution.

He has said that Kosovo today more than ever needs the empowerment of entrepreneurship and innovation as real opportunities for development and prosperity.

Shala says that Kosovo has talent and potential, and according to him, together with its team, will work towards guiding this potential to economic development and boost prosperity.

I'm going to make sure that innovative startings have the maximum support for them to grow and generate employment and work hard to connect the academy with entrepreneurship ecosystems as much as possible so that Kosovo becomes the centre of innovation for the Balkans. But at the same time, I will see that we are as transparent as possible in all our efforts. With self - confidence, family and society are embarking on development for a Kosovo that supports the ideas of young inventors and entrepreneurs. The old problems will deal with new ideas along with the best boys and girls of this country”, Minister Shala wrote among other things.

Muzafer Shala was appointed to the head of the Ministry of Innovation following Beqaj's dismissal from the chief parliament and chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Kadri Veseli.
