“Panorama” suggests the event occurred today in the early hours of the morning.
Local residents have notified the police, who have launched investigations into the authors' discovery of tritol-type explosives.
We remember that its memorial was damaged even earlier, while construction was followed by enormous debate. That is because, Thimito Loli is named as a follower of Vorio-Epiri, even a documented killer of Albanians in certain periods.
Who was Thimito Loli?
The evidence and documents of historians, which confirms that Thimyo Loli has participated in the massacre of Albanians in 1914 and has been linked to Greek anti-Albanian circles, have also long ago brought violent reactions to his memorial set up in the village of Kranja, Finic's municipality.
At the beginning of December of 2018, the memorial was broken up by still unidentified persons, just after the documentary at “The Albanian German” at Top Channel, where the crimes committed against the Albanians of Thimyo Loli were identified after the proclamation of Independence and during World War II.
Thimyo Loli, although of the minority residents of Kranja in Delvian, is known as a hero, he, in fact, according to historians has committed massacres against Albanians.
In both 1914, when he led the uprising of the Northern Epirus in Saranda and in 1944 against the chams in Greece.
Its memorial is located in the centre of the minority village, and annual commemorations are held from Greek nationalist circles.
