Following German Chancellor Angela Merkel's third quake in a little over three weeks, the renowned Culny newspaper”Kelner Stadt-Anzeiger” (KSA) calls on her to be honest about health problems.
“Politicians are allowed to get sick, they have the right to recover from tasks that affect the depletion of their energy. But a disease could turn into a political issue if it is not guaranteed that politicians can carry out their full energy tasks”, the Western city daily wrote in Thursday's editorial.
There's probably nothing to worry about in Merkel's case. It is possible that her trembling will be occasional and limited at the time when she stands still”, the KSA adds.
