Engel from Presevo: I hope in a Kosovo- Serbia, positive US role in this process

During this visit to Presevo has met with the mayor of the municipality, Shqirim Arifin, he talked about developments in the Balkans and specifically about Kosovo's independence, while emphasising the need for an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia.

Engel has said that efforts should focus on achieving a long-term peace and agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, and to achieve that, the parties must talk to each other.

“I hope this happens and I hope that the United States can also play a positive role in this regard”, the U.S. Congressman added.

Engel in Presevo has stayed after holding a meeting in Belgrade with Serbian head of state Aleksandar Vucinqi, with whom he has discussed dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia and the case of the Bytyqi brothers. /
