Block says the European Commission has shown there is not enough basis for dropping our demand.
So it requires Albania to continue fighting crime and regain persons who have applied for asylum for no reason.
The European Commission rejected the Dutch government's request to restore the visa regime with Albania.
A Commission spokesman told RTV Ora that Albania continues to meet the conditions for the benefit of visa liberalisation.
“After a careful assessment of the contents of the announcement received from the Netherlands and based on available information and relevant data, the Commission estimates that in the current situation there are no circumstances to activate the visa suspension mechanism”, he said.
The commission, the spokesman added, will continue to monitor closely meeting the visa liberalisation standards for Albania.
Meanwhile, the decision was also confirmed by EU Ambassador to Tirana Louis Soreca. /Time News/
