Scott said Serbia has made significant progress in economic stabilisation and in preparing for EU membership, but the key condition for membership remains reaching a comprehensive agreement on normalising relations with Kosovo.
He agreed with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq's statement that Belgrade must solve this problem sooner or later.
If this isn't done now, it'll have to be in the next generation, but then maybe it'll be harder to do it then. That's why we have to seize the case now and try to move forward.”, Scott said.
