Emini as the first Albanian in this position takes over Dragan Kovacki, who in February of this year was appointed by former President Gjorge Ivanov, while current President Stevo Pendarovski abrogoed his predecessor's decision.
Emin's appointment was made without media presence, a practice that has never been implemented so far by the Army/Jurnal.mk General Staff.
