Pristina, July 05th 2019th, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, through investments with investment grants, is managing to increase production and processing capacities in local agribusinesses, and is creating new jobs.
So said MBPZHR Secretary Kapllan Halimi at the official signing of investment grants ceremony with several beneficiaries for the pet tree sector.
In this case, he has shown that through the investments of the ministry of local agribusinesses they are reaching to expand their agricultural activities, and along with that they are bringing quality products to the local market, as well as generating new jobs.
The Ministry of Agriculture from year to year has increased investments in the development of agricultural activities in local agribusinesses, thus affecting the growth of productivity and quality of agricultural products. Even this year, as well as previous years, we will continue with these investments so that the agriculture sector will become as competitive as possible in the foreign market”, Secretary Halimi has said. He has also praised the great co-operation with USAID over the years on various agricultural projects.
On the other hand, U Economic Development Office director USAID, Brian Martalus, said investment grants for the agriculture sector have influenced and advanced, and along with this support has resulted in the sustainability of this sector. He has said that co-operation with the MBPZHR on agricultural projects is bringing very good results in further advancement of the sector throughout the country.
Otherwise, investor grants with agribusinesses “have been signed today. Laberion”, Joni-Sh and “Manda”, which agribiscent are the beneficiary of intimate grants for the fixed tree sector under the MBPZHR project and the USAID Mission, signed last year, where a special programme for supporting the chain of fruit and medicinal plant values in Kosovo has been established.
