Police have released a video of a drunk pensioner driving the wrong side of a road.
David Haughton, 75, made a 180 - degree return to drive back to where other cars were coming from and being under twice the influence of alcohol permitted.
The video shows another driver until it tries to avoid the M6 crash of Lancashire.
Police were alarmed by members of the public travel between 2:45 and noon on April 23rd.
Police officials managed to find Haughton stopped by his car.
He was arrested and convicted of dangerous driving and driving under the influence of alcohol.
On June 21, Haughton, of Bolton, was sentenced to 8 months in prison and had been banned for two years. /Periscope
