The joint operation of the repatriation of Albanian citizens who have been denied asylum in EU countries is under way.
29 citizens from France, among them a family of 5 members, and are deported by EU countries and 17 other Albanian citizens.
Border police in co-operation with the French Police have continued joint repatriation operations, where, through two charter flights from France, 29 Albanian citizens who were denied asylum in France, one of the five-member flights.
Also deported by EU countries are 17 other citizens with the motive” being irregularly placed on territory”, ” completed punishment suffering in EU countries”, ” Attempting illegal passage to the United Kingdom”, ” Passing residence deadlines on territory” and” Refusing asylum in EU countries”.
The repatriation operations will follow in the coming weeks and in this context, the State Police once again appeal to all Albanian citizens who travel to EU countries to respect the rules of movement in Schengen space, as well as not make any attempts to seek asylum, as the chances of getting it are zero.
At the same time, border police at crossing points will continue with rigorous controls in terms of verifying documentation and meeting conditions to travel to EU countries, as well as stricter control of the green border.
