The 11-year-old murder case also calls for investigation into police negligence

The Coalition for Children's Protection in Kosovo through a media conference has called for the dawning of the 11-year-old assassination in Fushe Kosovo.

KOMF Director Donjeta Kelmendi said they want the prosecution to act immediately to clear the case.

“KOMF requires immediate action by the prosecution to clear the case. According to the Kosovo Police, the victim has had signs of violence. The medical report on autopsy has revealed that the victim had been violated three times, and the wound has been fresh. Even more disturbing is that the victim's mother has said she has notified the Kosovo Police of concerns that her child was violated by the same person”, she said.

The KOMF is calling for the Kosovo Police Inspectorate to investigate whether there has been police negligence.

Unlike today, police have announced that a 20-year-old man has been arrested for the case as suspected of killing an 11-year-old child. The minor was first violated and then killed

“The case reported by 11.07.2019 initially has been named as the suspicious “death “, while following investigative and operational actions and by order of the state prosecutor, this case has been requalified as a criminal act “severe homicide””, it is said in the communique.
