Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has told senior US official Mathe Palmer he would like to see a slight change of American president in front of Kosovo. In the meantime, Palmer reportedly told Vucciki that they want the tax removed.
I am grateful to the United States for the support they have given and are giving of Serbia's European future. Our conversation focused more on Kosovo, but we have also talked about our bilateral relations, which should only go towards improvement”, Vuciq said, past Periscopi.
Vuciq has said he has sent out an invitation for Trump to visit Serbia in order to offer support to his country.
“We know and cannot expect to change the attitude for Kosovo, but we hope and believe it can happen that sometimes we have balanced attitudes when Serbia (and Kosovo v.j)”, Vuciq has said.
On the other hand, Palmer has said he will talk to representatives of American companies in Serbia about the consequences that have been caused since the tax was imposed by Pristina authorities.
“The US continues to support dialogue led by the European Union and aims at normalising reports between the two countries. It is important that dialogue paves the way for Kosovo and Serbia in the EU and we are interested in tax removal and continuing dialogue between the two countries in order to open up even prosperity opportunities”, Palmer has said. /Periscope.
