President Donald Trump's administration has banned the trip to Cuba, the U.S. State Department reports.
The Trump administration has banned all yachts, cruise ships as well as private and commercial planes from travelling to Cuba.
The State Department has cited the printing of Cuban people by the government there as a reason. Also, Cuba has been penalised for continuing aid to Venezuela's president, Nicolas Maduro.
Earlier Trump had warned an embargo on this state if things did not change.
Our “Tourism has helped fill the pockets of Cuban dictators and army. This has affected the oppression of innocent people in Cuba. The United States has called for halting oppression against Cubans, stopping intervention in Venezuela and working for a stable, progressive and free country state for Cuban people”, the US State Department said in an official statement.
However, travel will be allowed on several special occasions, including visits by family members, government jobs and humanitarian projects.
