Thaci hosted France, Germany delegations, discuss Paris meeting

The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, hosted President Macron's diplomatic advisers and Chancellor Merkel today.

President Thaci welcomed and welcomed French-German commitment to the meeting in Paris, between representatives of the state of Kosovo and the state of Serbia, as well as efforts by President Macro and Chancellor Merkel to help resume the dialogue process under the leadership of the European Union.

Also, the president said that “Kosovo will not accept other criteria for visa liberalisation, especially not in the form of tariff requirements or association”.

President Thaci demands that Kosovo citizens not be unjustly isolated and treated as second-hand citizens.

In the end, President Thaci said Kosovo remains committed to dialogue that must end with the comprehensive peaceful agreement, which will bring mutual recognition between Kosovo and Serbia, as well as Kosovo's membership in the United Nations.
