Hydes Tafa from the village of Bec once helped her husband and the rest of the family in agricultural activities. She did this in her spare time from chores. But now, agriculture is her profession and business. We live in the village and we've always been farming, but mostly for our needs. Now, agriculture is becoming a very important source of our family income, and I am happy for this”, says Hydavija.
In the new set that has just built, it produces cobbles that are then distributed to retail companies and small stores through a common collection point located in the center of the village. The hydagje is also responsible for this gathering point through which 40 women who have participated in the project distribute their fruits and vegetables.
Serats and collection points were enabled by grants provided by the European Union, including training for 40 women, including widows, women from minority communities, and social assistance.
Some 40 women from the village of Bec recently became acquainted with the forest - producing business. The project provided an intensive training programme for the newest methods of planting and gathering, and enabled them to produce organic products that are very much required in Kosovo and the international market.
In addition to training for business skills, the project provided support for the purchase of greenhouses and seeds of vines. From special collection points in the village of Bec, these twirls are transported to trading points across Kosovo and the wider region. As a result, consumers all over Kosovo have the opportunity to enjoy tasty cobbles produced in the Gjakova region of these women.
