The story of the humanist who housed remaining street children

The humanitarian association “Hader” in Prizren needs a store in which they would put things they do for sale, all hand jobs. There are also labors created by poor mental - health children and clothes worn by their family members. Resmije Krasniqi well knows the problems [...]
Resmije Krasniqi well knows the problems facing people with special needs.
In addition to taking care of her mentally weak daughter throughout her life, she is surrounded by hundreds of other children.
For two decades she stayed close to the children who had lost hope of a normal life and walked down the streets looking for gifts of mercy, checking containers to secure mouth bites.
Since the end of the war, a humanist woman gave refuge to many children in poor mental health.
She created the humanitarian association “Hader”, where she was first involved with five children in poor mental health who got them off the road.
Some of them have even been sent to school through the association.
Until 2005, the association's activity was held in her home until the Prizren municipality had given her space to build an object, which they later built with their own forces.
“Our association has been operating since 99 shortly after the war when Kosovo was freed. We've started with 42 nanas, now there's a house that has a mental flaw. Otherwise, I'm also the mother of a mentally flawed child. I have a 42-year-old daughter. We've found the disabled people in the container taking their mouth bites. I was so sorry to see them, I had to take those people on the way”, Krasniqi relates.
On the other hand, it shows that from 2005 to 2011, it has had many difficulties keeping the association alive.
However, they continue their work and have now managed to provide a 24 - hour stay.
Resmije Krasniqi, a clothing instructor, says the association now has 250 members.
I've given a free course, because I know what it means when there's no. His war took its toll, thanking our brothers in Albania, we saved him there. After the war there were people without children, with disabled children, it was a pleasure to have opened the association and sheltered these children. We started with 42 mothers, now there are 250 members of the mentally disabled association”, she says.
In this association, mothers and family members of weak mental - health people work with different clothes and other features.
Meanwhile, even children do a great job here. Handworks, such as collars and others they bring, are very special.
All these works today are on display at the National Ears Fair in Prizren.
Krasniqi says that is not enough. According to her, the association needs help with a permanent budget.
Also, their big problem is the absence of a store where they could put their labors on sale.
And in this way, the money would hold the association and help people with such problems.
Krasniqi is counting on the mayor of Prizren.
I have sent a request to the municipality for the store, so these national clothes can be sold at the store and I believe the association will be held. We're not going to go out like beggars, for us there's no shadow this is exposure, pleasure to exhibit work and children. But they are always helped, not as the beggar who begs for help. Inshalla wants Mr. Mayor and the directors to help us and give us a” store, she says.
The humanitarian association “
Members there are of different nationalities, and the only purpose is to ensure a normal life for those in poor mental health.
The head of the association, Resmije Kransiqi, says that her whole life has devoted her children with such problems, from her own daughter, whose existence was one more reason to help the needy
